Branson Vacation

Panorama of Table Rock Lake
This past weekend, I went to Branson,MO with my grandparents and step-sister. I've never been to Branson, but we had a lot of fun! The vacation started off with rainy weather, but sunny for the rest of the few days we had left. The first day, we stopped to eat at Lambert's on the way and then got into Branson in the afternoon. For the rest of the afternoon, we visited the Hollywood Wax Museum and Maze of Mirrors. Day two, I went to Silver Dollar City. My favorite rides were "Fire in the Hole" and "Wildfire." On day three, we went to "Ride the Ducks",dinner on the Branson Belle showboat, and go-karts/rip cord at "The Track." Thank you to my AWESOME grandparents for taking me on this vacation!

Financial Boot Camp (2015)

Chris teaching students how to budget
Successful Meritrust financial boot camp for Summer 2015! Today, we hosted close to 55 middle school students who participated in our camp at Eberly Farms. Students learned how to save money, plan a monthly/yearly budget, and played a realistic game where each student needed to spend money, but keep track of how much they spent with their monthly allowance after taxes. Also, the kids were allowed to venture around outside a few times. Wow! This was my first time at financial boot camp/Eberly Farms. I'm amazed at how many activities they had to keep everyone busy, even myself! I definitely will be coming back to volunteer for this awesome camp next year!

If interested, please visit meritrustcu.org for 2016 Summer financial boot camp dates!

Here's a few photos from the camp and some fun/exploring I did!
