Fourth Of July Weekend in ATL

Hello everyone! I realize this is a late blog post, but I hope you're all doing well and having a great summer! I've been so busy lately that I haven't had the chance to post lately.

Last weekend, Joe and I visited Atlanta for the 4th of July to see John and Laura. From stopping by the Farmer's Market and picking local fresh peaches, eating dinner at King + Duke, touring SPANX, relaxing at the pool and enjoying North Carolina grass feed steaks on Sunday was a FANTASTIC long weekend for all of us.
❤️💛💚💙💜

Next weekend, Joe and I are planning to go to Wrightsville Beach for the day, which I hope I don't get sunburned again!  Also, I want to make BIG SHOUT OUT to my amazing boyfriend Joe! I love you so much and have enjoyed experiencing all of these fun adventures with you! I'm looking forward to may more in the present and future years!

That's all for now...Stayed tuned to Colby's Blog for more updates in a news feed near you!

HAPPY FINALS WEEK!

Happy Monday everyone! It's about that time again! This week is final examinations and the end of the semester. In about two weeks, I will be in North Myrtle Beach taking a nap in the sand like this little girl. Also, here are a few of my favorite GIFS to get me through finals. Enjoy!

Visit to ATL and Tour of Honda Aircraft

Hello there! I hope everyone is having a good weekend because it has been a busying week for me, to say the least. Last weekend, I visited Atlanta with Joe to see John and Laura. We all had a blast in the city! The most favorite part of my trip was trying Jeni's Ice Cream and Poutine for the first time. If you have never eaten Poutine, you're missing out on life (just kidding!). Overall, we had a good time and are excited to go back to visit them soon again.

Besides the fun weekend in ATL, I have been very busy with school. Only four more weeks of the semester is left and I am ready for it to be over! In addition, I had the chance to tour Honda Aircraft's facilities today with Joe, where he works. We really enjoyed our tour, since both of us were able to see the jets more closely in person (check out the pictures below).

Anyways, that's all for now...Stayed tuned to Colby's Blog!

Endless Opportunities

Hello everyone, I have some breaking news to share with you all! I have accepted the Marketing and Web Development Internship with a local Credit Union here in Greensboro, NC. I am excited to further my knowledge and experience, not only in Marketing, but also with the Credit Union. With that being said, I couldn't let an opportunity like this pass me by!

NOTE: Another fun event happening this coming weekend includes, traveling to Atlanta, GA to see John and Laura. I will have updates on my blog from that weekend, which will be posted next week, so stay tuned to Colby's Blog!

Welcome to the Family!

Hello everyone, I'd like to welcome the newest member to our family, Ryder. He is a one year old lab/boxer mix and he is a rescue from SPCA of the Triad. Joe and I went there to look at dogs and fell in love with him! Look forward to future posts about Ryder!

Oh, Hi there...

Hello everyone! It's been awhile since I've made a post, but I finally feel settled down in Greensboro, NC. UNCG classes started a couple weeks ago and I'm LOVING it! I enjoy walking and riding my bike to school everyday which I've never done before, because I always drove my car to school, but it's not bad at all! Now, I'm sure you're wondering what I like about Greensboro so far? Well, I like being close to everything (Myrtle Beach is only three hours away), all the different types of cuisine, and FINALLY moving here to be with Joe! Anyways, I hope everyone is enjoying the new year and stay tuned for future posts!

Now bye, I said BYE!!

Reflection (2015)

Wow, what a year it's been for me and it's not over yet! I've been faced with several obstacles, but somehow managed to overcome them all. Beginning with heartbreak, loss of our family dog, and overall a depressing half of the year. What about the good obstacles though? Finding an AMAZING partner who loves me, an AMAZING group of new and old friends, an AMAZING family, and AMAZING myself to be a better person. I'm not complaining about everything that's happened this year, but I want to show you how strong a person can be through CHANGE and that it's okay to be VULNERABLE. If it weren't for every good and bad situation, I wouldn't be where I'm at today!

As the year 2015 comes to an end, I want to say "THANK YOU" to everyone who's come into my life. At the end of this week, I'll be starting a new adventure in North Carolina and I'm excited for what the future holds! (SIDE NOTE: I'm definitely not going to miss the variable Kansas weather!!)
